Chris Mahaney brings a rare blend of hands-on experience, strategic vision, and a deep appreciation for design. His career began with personal construction projects, eventually leading him to work with The Olympia Companies, a hospitality development firm based in Portland, Maine. There, he gained valuable experience managing complex commercial builds across the country.
After relocating to Florida with his wife Stephanie—a talented interior designer and founder of Stephanie Rae Interiors—Chris began bridging the gap between construction and design. Their collaboration sharpened his ability to lead projects that are not only beautifully built but seamlessly integrated with the design intent from day one.
Before founding Bloom Building and Construction, Chris served as Senior Project Manager at Oceanic Homes in Jupiter, overseeing high-end residential projects with construction budgets ranging from $12 to $18 million. His portfolio includes properties from Acadia National Park in Maine to the most prestigious neighborhoods of Palm Beach County, Florida.
Chris has worked with respected architectural firms, including the award-winning Lake | Flato, and is known for his collaborative approach, clear communication, and dedication to exceptional results. As a father of three, he understands that homes are meant to be lived in—and he brings that same philosophy to every project Bloom takes on.
Chris splits his time between Falmouth, Maine and Jupiter, Florida with his wife and kids.
Matt Percy has spent his life in construction—and he wouldn’t have it any other way. Growing up as the son of a General Contractor, Matt spent his summers digging ditches and chipping concrete, learning the value of hard work and attention to detail from the ground up.
He officially began his career in 2009 as a Project Manager at his family’s company, and over the past two decades, he has built an impressive track record of delivering luxury residential homes throughout Palm Beach County. His work spans some of the area’s most sought-after neighborhoods, including Frenchman’s Creek, Admirals Cove, Jupiter Island, Jupiter Inlet Colony, Palm Beach Island, and the historic El Cid district.
Matt holds a Construction Project Management degree from Palm Beach State College and is a Certified General Contractor in the State of Florida through NASCLA accreditation. He has collaborated with leading builders like Thomas Melhorn, Onshore Construction, and Benitz Building, as well as renowned architectural firms such as Dailey Janssen, Smith and Moore, and Peacock and Lewis.
At Bloom, Matt brings a steady, experienced hand to every project. He knows that building a home is a major investment—of time, trust, and energy—and he’s committed to making the experience as rewarding as the end result. As a husband and father of two in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, Matt understands firsthand what it means to build a home that supports the way families actually live.
"Matt ran a great job site, and you could tell the subs respected him. Everyone was professional and easy to work with. If anything came up, Matt had an answer on site and Chris had an answer with the financials. It was a really enjoyable and transparent process from start to finish."
